Assign a 1-5 value for each pillar for each asset. Sum the values together to get the CARVER score.

Considered a defense planning tool by the video author; adversaries should not be in a position to collect enough surveilance data to fill this rubrick out on your base.

Pillars

• Criticality: how important is the target for mission success?
• Accessibility: how easy is the target to access?
• Recuperability: how easy is it to replace/recover if lost?
• Vulnerability: how easy is it to attack/steal/disable?
• Effect: how much would the mission be affected by losing this?
• Recognizablity: how easy is the target to find?
