"ALPHA" AI beats air force pilot running of Raspberry Pi

Can't believe this wasn't already in here.

ALPHA is a fuzzy logic machine trained on a cluster of modules related to a drone.

There are hand-written sensors and processes. A graph is created using genetic evolution to connect modules to one another as well as set the levels where sensor values are discretized for the fuzzy logic outputs.

The training system is called EVE and was created more or less by itself after a number of ALPHA-like fuzzy logic bots were developed by the company.

They built fuzzy logic machines that worked in the old slow ways and used it to train EVE which effectively acts as a more sophisticated mutation function to train other robots with.

Pretty fascinating stuff I looked in to how most of it worked but never built one.
