It's an RTS game based around automation.
Effects are projected by modules which are attached to slots. Structures and units of different types have a set number of slots to have modules attached to.
Logistical networks also exist so that idle robots will carry goods between suppliers and requesters.
Visual programming can be attached to behavior blocks. This allows customizing the AI of the unit with a graph/flow based programming system.
