• The economy needs to be made regular and predictable. This can be accomplished by destroying the family and assuming control of society's more erratic elements.
• Using IOUs to exchange a promise of money for some real physical good; then later using the control of real physical goods as leverage over a country which is at war with another.

Separation

• The public are beasts of burden and all power should be in control of the disciplined few.
• The public should not be educated enough to become one of the disciplined few

Children

• Families will be dissolved by keeping the parents occupied with work so children are neglected
• Children will be raised by state daycare
• Children will be given a sabotaged education; they are to be useful but unable to cross the divide.
