When a person becomes exhausted or paralyzed because of the amount of choices to be made in a context.

In middling cases this is "choice fatigue." Someone has to pick from many similar plugins for some audio mastering task, or from one of a dozen ways to obtain the same sound, or some dozen ways to prepare a vegetable.

Becomes "blank page syndrome" in extremis. Too many possibilities exist for the person to do anything.
