Can be represented fundamentally by a 2-bit, 4x4 pixel pattern.

Consists of 2 pixel tall plates stacked left to right, each tile is one pixel higher than its leftmost neighbor.

Consists of 2 pixel wide plates next to the tall plate, each tile is also one pixel higher than its previous.

Only half of the plates reflect light and the rest is matte. So only tall plates reflect, or only wide plates.

Scuff details on each plate appear to come from the top edge on tall plates, and wide plates appear to be tall plates that were rotated 90 degrees (so the scuffs are on the left or right.)

Fingerprints and oily grunge is only visible in the specular half of the tile.
