DM Tip #1: D&D Theater of the Mind Maps on Foundry VTT

• Start with a static background that fits the theme of the scene.
• Possibly add lighting effects so the scene has some animation.
• Consider using a large grid so tokens are highly visible.
• Use the wall tools to create solid walls around the scene's image; this contains tokens to the photo.
• Use the glass wall tools to keep characters confined to one row of the grid while still seeing the rest of the map.

Having tokens on the screen still allows access to impersonation (speaking as character) and sheets by just double clicking tokens.
